This is a air bearing rotor that we manufactured
under contract for NASA and the Department of
Energy for a proto-type hybrid (gas over electric)
engine.  This was the "hot-end" rotor that was on
the turbo charger end with the other end being
connected to an electric generator.  Straight and
round within 20 millionths.

Material is Silicon Nitride.
This is a precision pump component that is used
in the battery industry.  There are "X" and "Y"
holes that index every 90 degrees when it
rotates.  There is also a matched ceramic sleeve
that mates to the major diameter that is fitted to
less than a tenth.

Material is YTZP and 304 stainless.
This is a precision forming die used in the
manufacture of the metal electrode on alkaline
batteries.

Material is ATZ (Alumina Toughened Zirconia).
This disc is used in the can industry for the ultra
precision adjustment of scoring blades used in
the manufacture of pull top cans.

Material is YTZP.
